The student management system
for schools

Why

Teached is a student management system for clock-hour schools. Admissions, classes, attendance, hours, grades, financial aid, student accounts and messages all run in one place. The team needed a brand and a product that clearly show how much it covers.

How

Brand

We designed the brand: the logo, colours, type, illustrations, posters, billboards and website. The logo is a lowercase t built from seven blocks in seven colours. In the illustrations, a grid of dots stands for the students in a school, and a cursor picks out one of them.

Product

We redesigned the whole product: the staff app for instructors and offices, the student phone app, and the clock-in kiosk. Every office works from the same student record. Instructors take roll in one tap, the registrar verifies hours, and students see their progress to graduation.

Roll call. One tap. A green lattice with rows of white counters; the cursor taps one.

Enrolment to graduation, in one system. A black arch on a lilac lattice.
Less admin. More teaching. A sky lattice sheet hangs from the cursor's cone.
A billboard: Teachers should teach. On yellow, with a black lattice, two counters and the cursor.
Seven parts. One system. The seven coloured blocks of the t on a cream lattice. Teachers should teach. A black lattice on lilac, the cursor on a red counter. Every class. Scheduled. A green lattice calendar on yellow. Talk to every class. From one inbox. A lilac speech bubble hangs from the cursor's cone. Roll call. One tap. A green attendance ring on black with the cursor at its centre. Every student. Every class. One system. Lattice shapes in lilac, yellow and sky. Talk to every class. From one inbox. Product

Teached manages the full student lifecycle at clock-hour schools, from admission to graduation. It records attendance and hours, schedules classes, tracks financial aid and student accounts, and handles communication between staff and students. Because every office works from the same student record, schools no longer need to reconcile data across separate systems.

The Teached school calendar: the week of October 5, 2026, with classes, appointments and aid disbursements.

A day at school

Her morning in one view: today's lessons, what needs her, and the students to watch.

Color theory lab

Roll call while the lesson runs. Tyler came in at 11:12, so Teached asks for a reason.

Attendance

Financial aid

Brand in product

Covered 2 of 3: diploma and aid covered, orientation not covered. It goes into the follow-up.
Next step: chase documents. Her file, 4 of 7: the high school diploma is missing, pulled up in red with the cursor on it.
Student accounts: pay the $905 credit balance to Priya Shah, with the 3D coin stack icon.
Roll call as a ring of fifteen counters around the t on a violet lattice. Dashed counters have not checked in yet.
Verify today's attendance: the class as a row of counters on the yellow lattice. 14 present, 0 to fix, 15 expected.
Collected by source, May to October: each bar is filled with the poster lattice.
Chase documents, her file as the t: one block per item, four in ink, the missing diploma in red, two still to do.
Student services: reach Margareth, 3 lessons missed and no contact, with the 3D stopwatch icon.

Website

The Teached website: Run the whole school from one place, on a sky card with lattice shapes and a class page, then the eight parts of the school, roll call, financial aid and admissions.
